List of Infinitely Replayable Board Games
Board games that I haven't got bored with after playing over and over
Over the years I have accumulated quite a collection of board games. And I think every geek should. Some of them were played over and over until the components wore down to shreds, while others accumulate dust and are still in mint condition years later.
Here is my list of infinitely replayable, amazing board games that you will never get bored of. Each of these games should be pure gold for a board game geek.
An absolute classic. If you like board games and haven’t heard of Agricola yet, you must live under a rock. Tons of expansions too.

- For 1-4 players
- 30 minutes playing time per player
- Amazing replay value
Agricola as a whole is a masterpiece. Amazing game and my family loves it. Don't be fooled, my 7 year old plays this game, if you know the rules very well then you can help guide them. The revised really put a power level into the game and sometimes there are combos that are hard to overcome. But this few and far between love this game!
Great Euro game!!!
I borrowed this from my local library & played it. I was instantly hooked. It gave you so many options & so many ways to build a farm. I know building a farm does not sound that exciting, but this game makes it fun. I play lots of board games & this is one of my top 2-3 games. I will play it anytime someone wants to play.
If you like a great two player or family game this is a must have for your collection!
We love this game
We love this game. The little animal, etc. figures are really fun (we're worried that our four month old baby will get a little more interested in them as he gets older) and the art is appealing. The game itself is extremely engaging-- a lot of strategy and planning things out. There's plenty of variation in the gameplay as well. We tried it as a one player game as well and it was good. But definitely better with four people.
Caverna: The Cave Farmers
This is considered Agricola 2.0 by many, however some argue that original Agricola is still better. I have to say I prefer Caverna more. Warning, the box weights a ton and you need a lot of space to play this.

- Takes about 30 minutes to play for each player
One of my faves, great game!
This is a favorite between my wife and I. It's by no means a gateway game or a good game for newcomers to boardgames. I believe the game takes 30 minutes per player and it can play up to 7 ppl.
I 3d printed a storage solution for the game and it makes setup and teardown SO much easier. Wouldn't play it without it at this point :)
One of the Best
This is an amazing game. I didn't like agricola because I thought it was too stressful. This game seems to deliver all the parts of agricola that I love, but keep it light and fun. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, home building type of game.
Also, it's expensive, but the amount of stuff in the box, and the quality of said stuff is awesome.
Great heavy game. Highly recommend for those that like a heavy involved game.
Pandemic Board Game
Wet your feet with base Pandemic first, then get all the expansions!

Such a great game! I brought it home when I visited for Christmas, thinking a cooperative game would reduce the number of board game related fights. While it wasn't a completely argument free experience, it was very well received by everyone from the teenagers to my parents. There's a bit of a learning curve, but the cooperative elements make it easy to learn as you play. I like the fact that it has a pretty fast gameplay, it's a lot easier to convince people to play a game when they know it won't take the whole afternoon.
We absolutely love the Pandemic Board Game!!! Highly recommended.
This is actually the first co-operative board game that my hubby and I have played. We love it because I can't fuss that he always wins at everything! It provides a proper challenge and good feel overall, we will definitely be looking forward to checking out a few other similar games. Its nice to just unwind every once in a while and save humanity from some nasty viruses and outbreaks TOGETHER! The minimum amount of players is just two players, which is simply fantastic!
this is a great game, but I haven't gotten into the right ...
this is a great game, but I haven't gotten into the right rhythm yet even after playing 10 or so games. I know it's not in the same classification of board game, but I recently got Karuba and have gotten WAY more enjoyment out of that one.
the coop element is cool; it's unique to a lot of people and that makes it fun. the game's difficulty can be discouraging but it is not unwinnable. if you are on a losing streak, try a team with Medic, Dispacher, and Researcher.
all of the parts and pieces are very nice quality. I do suggest to keep the manual handy and read through twice before you start.
Rio Grande Games Dominion
One of the best deck building games out there, easy to play, hard to master. Be sure to get the expansions later, but this is the one you have to start with.

- For 2-4 players
- Tactical card game
- Takes about 30 minutes to play
- Lots of expansions available to add depth and complexity
- Quick to learn, many ways to win
Dominion is a game that I still enjoy and still look forward to every opportunity to play even after 50+ plays. Other deck builders have attracted my attention, but none has the legs that Dominion has. (Even Star Realms, a game I gave a strong recommendation to, has fallen off the map for me.) Even if I like other deck builders, I still acknowledge that Dominion is one of the best.
It’s fashionable these days to be “over” Dominion. Been there, done that, bought the expansions. But Dominion is truly a powerhouse game, one that casts a long shadow and still outshines the competition. And the latest expansions, rather than a cash grab or crawling across the finish line, are truly worthy of the game that has preceded them. Dominion deserves the awards it has won, and it deserves its place in my and most other game collections.
Alien Artifacts Card Game
One of the newer additions to my collection, a 4X card game which plays at fast pace and has so much variation in it, that it can surely be played indefinitely.
- Alien Artifacts is an 4x-style card game in which you play as an interplanetary corporation, sending your research vessels into uncharted space to expand your knowledge and power
- Build your ship, research tech, and explore the galaxy for anything — or anyone — you can exploit
- Alien Artifacts provides a true 4x experience in under an hour, With over two hundred cards, Alien Artifacts offers players many scoring strategies and great replayability
May be it’s because I’m a big fan of Battlestar Galactica, but this game is really something. If you haven’t seen Battlestar Galactica, you may have hard time understanding what’s this all about, but if you’re a fan like me, you can play this one forever.

- Based on the hit SyFy channel TV show
- Take part in the accusations and paranoia as Humanity fights to survive the Cylon attack
- Age: 10+
- Number of Players: 3 - 6
- Playing Time: 2 - 3 hrs
I love this game. I've played it several times with my family, and it always causes drama. You get so invested in the game, that you actually feel betrayed when someone reveals that they are a Cylon. It does take 2-3 hours to play, but it's worth it. This reminds me of the childhood game, "Mafia" where no one knows who the mafia is and everyone is pretending to be townspeople. Only this is much better and much more intense. You are counting on your friends and family for survival, but not sure if you can truely trust them. It's a great game. Give it a try.
Android Netrunner LCG: Revised Core Set
An asymetric card game for two players. Is it any good you ask? There are official tournaments of this thing, that’s how good it is.
